The WOW – Women of the World festival in Karachi is taking place on 2-3 December 2017 celebrating the lives and achievements of women and girls, as well as highlighting the socioeconomic challenges they face today. Some areas of discussion include women in science and technology, gender equality, violence against marginalised communities, emotional well-being, and socially conscious raising children.
Will also include musical performances, dramatic readings, panel discussions, inspirational talks, workshops, a space for young children and a market place, WOW Karachi is an inclusive space open to women, men, boys and girls to come to together and recognise the importance of an equal society.
